IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Hey everyone. My name is Simon and on battlenet im known as "SecondAccInTFT". I've been a team manager since TFT came out and I have been doing all sorts of admin work for several leagues. Right now im head manager of vG and head admin of International eSports League

saosiN Says: Sounds like you have a lot on your plate managing a top team and running one of the bigger leagues in the community. Can you walk me through a normal day of Simon?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well a normal day...would be 3-4 hours of school. Then six to seven hours of work and when I get home I turn on my pc and attends to my team or the league. What keeps me going is my team mates who I have the upmost respect for and then the need of helping a damaged community (mostly the danish)

saosiN Says: When you say 'damaged community' what do you mean?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well what I mean is that the Danish community isnt that big anymore. A lot of people started to play dota or wow. The scene only contains two teams... vG and iG.eRn. There is a big gab between those teams where only vG is on the "semi" international scene. Compared to other esport games like cs for instance where Denmark has some of the best teams and a pretty good national team as well. Where they have an estimated userbase of 10k we are only like 55 people @ wc3

saosiN Says: That is not very many people ! >.< You feel the Wc3 scene will be dead soon?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Actually I dont really feel it will be dead... maybe with sc2 but not by itself. The thing is that the people who are still here has a passion for the commmunity. Beside I doubt that the scene will die as long as people still trust that the teams can reach a good level on the international scene. But only time will tell and I have my fingers crossed.

saosiN Says: Now your team, recently went through a name change, from CPG to vG i believe it was. Can you explain why?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: We had been in CPG for six months and I thought it was time to try something new. I've decided on vG since I've worked with some of the people before and I hope we can create great things together. Beside the sponsors werent bad either cuz we didnt really get anything in CPG beside free time on their cafe.

saosiN Says: Now, does your team all live by eachother?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well everyone, except crane, lives close to Copenhagen and by public transport it takes aproximately 45 min to get to the cafe.

saosiN Says: Oh cool! Now you guys recently fell short by literally, one match to maknig it in NGL-2. How did this affect your team in a whole?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well it was quite a blow... not because we were 100% sure to get in but because it all started out incredlebly well. Getting to the winner brack final was quite hard and we were so happy to get three chances to get in but we met some really good teams. We might had the chance to beat eX if I didnt allow zenio to play but I felt really bad that they lost focus some days before the match. And focus = violet ofc, then fnatic stood in our way.. It was so anoying to see that they lost vs dmZ, a team we took down in the winner bracket. But there wasn't really much we could do vs FoCuS who just crushed us in that final cw.

saosiN Says: hmm thats really too bad. You guys have been one of my favourites with the like of Rosenkill and ofc Serups ! Let's move to IEL. Recently IEL has grown trmendously with you and Ako heading WHL (Warcrafts Heroes League) and making a merge with the well known TFL (The Frozen League) to form IEL. You guys have a great site with many features. With the prizes you have been providing since last season what are the goals of IEL at this point

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well the goal is to become even bigger. We are at this moment looking for some serious sponsors but such things takes time. We hope we can develope into a serious contender to NGL-2 and WPL-2.

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: And in the future NGL-1 and WPL-1 ;D

saosiN Says: You guys have done good things with IEL, from keeping TFL alive, to hsoting your special IEL cups which are always a big hit. With TFL and WHL both coming to an end on another great couple of seasons, any big plans right now?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: Well our plans right are to host two good playoffs / playdowns for WHL and TFL and in the near future to host another IEL cup but we kinda felt "betrayed" last time since only half of the signed up people actually showed at the cup day

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: We are also lurking with some plans of taking more games into IEL but those plans wont be really serious until after christmas

saosiN Says: sounds very exciting, one last question before we get to our one word game. What is your opinion on Wc3 scene, you think it is dying or growing?

IEL]Simon / vG.Simon says: I would say that the scene itself is quite steady but you can never prevent people from going inactive due to school etc.
